The third project with this longtime client, this home is the latest chapter in a creative partnership built on trust, shared vision, and a deep love of good design. What began as a humble idea—a small beach cottage for the client’s father to enjoy his golden years—naturally grew into something more: a spacious, multi-structured modern farmhouse that feels both grounded and expansive. Nestled along a golf course, it was designed as much for relaxed living as it was for connection—with nature, family, and of course, the beloved dogs who roam the property as freely.

The design of the home, led by Ken Linsteadt Architects, referred by Sudha Marsh Design, strikes a beautiful balance between crisp modern lines and the soul of a timeless farmhouse. The collaboration between client, designer, and architect was seamless—an easy rhythm of ideas, edits, and inspiration.

Reclaimed wood, sustainably sourced from the Southeast, adds a sense of history and depth to the clean, open spaces, grounding the home in warmth and texture.
